Southtown’s spot, The Good Kind, will host a Friendsgiving event on Friday, November 26 with a makers market, Texan whiskey and a concert by classic country band The Texases.

The Black Friday rally is intended to help San Antonians spend their holiday shopping cash locally and will feature vendors of art, jewelry, clothing, and handcrafted gifts. A DJ will be playing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. before the Texases take the stage.

Blanco-based Milam & Green Whiskey will offer cocktail tastings while The Good Kind will serve their own signature drinks. The full restaurant menu will also be available.

Tickets cost $ 20 and include cocktail tastings for those of age to soak up. The Good Kind event venue, Ivy Hall, located at 1127 S. St. Mary’s St., accepts pets and children.
