Teddy Bear Reading Club, June 6-August. 6. Join the Teddy Bear Reading Club and keep reading and learning all summer long. For beginning readers 0-4 years old. Do fun early literacy activities with your child and win a fabulous prize. Get a reading file from Monday, June 6th at the library. Book Bingo for adults, June 6-August. 6. Summer Reading is no longer just for kids at the Bitterroot Public Library. Pick up a bingo card at the library or print one from the event calendar on our website. Keep track of your readings over the summer and turn in completed bingo cards to win a prize. Kick-off of the summer reading, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at the library. Join us as we kick off a reading-filled summer and enjoy our summer theme, “Oceans of Possibilities”. Get materials for our summer reading programs and participate in fun Oceans of Possibilities activities. Prizes will be distributed until noon. Scratch paper to-go craft kit for kids. 42nd Annual Bitter Root Day, the annual Bitter Root Day festival features authentic Salish drumming, dancing and singing, free activities for children of all ages, arts, crafts, food and produce from local and outdoor vendors, and a special exhibition. Free family activity: Design and decorate a replica teepee. Help us honor the Salish people and their culture as we celebrate Bitter Root Day.
